Leadership team
Khezan Irani
Khezan brings several years of experience as a software developer: he has been programming intensively since third grade and takes his own apps all the way to the App Store. As CEO, he leads project execution and product development at HappyHearts.

- 1st place in the Buffalo Initiative × OpenAI “AI Atlas for Rare Diseases” challenge at the 7th Hack-Nation Global AI Hackathon 2026, with Phenotech
- 2nd place nationally in the Känguru der Mathematik 2024 (out of 7,220 participants)
- Developer of several App Store apps (over 2,000 downloads)
- BSc Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, ETH Zurich; Swiss Matura and IB Diploma
Focus areas & interests
Shahbaz Irani
Shahbaz is studying for an MSc in Management, Technology and Economics at ETH Zurich, with a focus on economics and finance. Before that, he completed his BSc in Mechanical Engineering there and published a scientific paper. Shahbaz gained hands-on experience at international industrial companies over several years, two of them at Siemens, where he supported IT rollouts across several countries. At HappyHearts, he is responsible for sales and finance.

- Data analysis in motorsport: experience with the Sauber Formula 1 Team and with ETH Zurich’s world-record team, AMZ Racing
